Perris is shut down! So no more LACR no more Perris two of the shittiest tracks with the worst track prep, but the best for hot lapping and T&T ing.

I would rather wait to let the weather cool down. I'm having a custom TT setup being started on Monday, so thats going to be a month or so, trying to get it ready for the LSX Shoot out in Tennessee. I also might have to cancel for the Pinks show in LV on the 8th of sept. Looks like I'll need alot more tuning and other stuff to get the car going.

But for the most part Oct/Nov seems to be a good time to set it up. so everyone get your rides going!
sounds good to me... i guess i better hurry and get the ta togerther

That or the fact that a car flipped over a few weeks ago after it couldnt make the stop. Apparently that track doesnt have enough stopping distance for a 6.30 car....

The track has barely enough stopping distance for a 7.0 car much less 6.30 car.
From what i know that was the 5-6 car to hit the barricades at the end of the track.

Nothing worse than making your pass and having to slow down on uneven pavement covered in dust \

What about Barona?

Didn't someone try to organize a track rental about a year ago? If I remember right, the price was kinda high since there weren't alot of takers. I think it was Irwindale.

An idea: if we want to keep the price low, organize this on other sites on their local forums as well (all the GM sites, SVTperformance, etc.). The Ford vs. GM theme will probably bring out some nice cars.

That was me.... and it was at Fontana. It's expensive to put on an event for side by side racing because off staffing and insurance.

Irwindale might be a bit cheaper but never tried to follow up with them.

What is the most you guys would be willing to pay for a rental?

i can try and set something up but need to have an idea of how many car we want to limit it too and how much we want to pay.
