Is it just me or have the Thursday night meets died in the SFV?

 

From what I've heard they kinda have. I stopped going after those kids died in Lancaster.

I was out with Rob the other night and we passed by the ol meet spot at Devinshire and Balboa and saw that they put up a fence over there. .. Blew our minds cuz we'd never seen it before that.

 

Yea I noticed that too since I live right up the street from there. Everyone used to meet up at K Mart off of Plummer and Corbin but no one goes anymore.

I heard Peter Pipers pizza out in Van Nuys now? Or is that on sundays?

 

Yea, I heard that people started not going to Flames but I though it was because of the weather. Was there another reason because I have some friends who go every now and then and it was still pop'n a few months back? Did something happen out there?

 

Nothing bad happened just died out I guess. I'm thinking cause a lot of people were going regularly and when you go every time and see the same people there it gets kind of boring.

We need to get this started back up. Especially because summer is coming back real soon and that's when all the fun begins

hahahaha i ya i know those guys. . the guy with the trailblazer is a cool kid but the rest of them are a lil . . . we hit them up with a neon and they didnt wanna do anything with it . .

I just realized something,.. I don't want the the meets to get busted on and even though some of us don't street-race anymore we still like to hit up the meets every now and then. I'm a lil nervous about mentioning the meet-spots on the forums. I'd much rather keep that as a thing that if someone wants to know about they can PM us about it.

i dont think cops are on here looking for meets i think there more interested in the street races. . and cops arent stupid they know all the big car meets!!! its not hard theres only like 6 places we could be at lol . .



oh but if its about a race of course that should stay threw pm jsut like they did for the desert nationals!!
