Beware: AZ Power and Sound Just a warning, there are a couple of guys over on ls1gto.com that appear to have been screwed out of several thousands of dollars by AZPS. Nobody really knows for sure what's going on yet, but it looks like AZPS closed up shop and left at least one car in pieces, and disappeared with lots of money owed to a few different people. The phones are going unanswered, and the website appears to have been taken down.

my buddy goes to asu and ordered some spray from them... lucky he has the kit at his house minues bottle heater and switch panel, but he paid upfront for install....
he went over there the other day and said there are cars, and blowers, and heads and eerything sitting in the garages and something about the landlord closing it or kciking them out or something

Mike has treated me so-so in the last two years. My family and I have owned business and I know how it goes. You get in over your head, can't pay your bills, the people that work for you screw you over, etc. Then sooner or later you have to close down. At least when we shut our two construction companies down we made sure everyone was paid up and all the work was finished.
Now I am not trying to stick up for Mike, hell AZP&S owes me me money (only like $300) and still has work unfinished. I'm not saying he did what he did just to screw people or if it just happened and there was nothing he could do. He was not the best business man so it could be he just lost his *** and had to close down. Or he did just screw everyone, took their money and shut the doors. He seems like a decent guy, so it's hard to say.

while my car was there, he treated me awesome, and made sure my car was in perfect working order before me taking delivery... i noticed the signs taken down too when picking up my car, sucks, and i hope he didnt "scam" anyone. goodluck to them and him.

sole proprioter can STILL be LLC.. LLCs in some states can be set up with just one natural person involved, and az is one of them.

i believe what makes him LLC is cause he was apart of another company, i remember hearing of another location. but im unsure.

AZPS has screwed people into the 6 and sometimes 7 digits and some very recently (Oct 1 - Oct 31) when he knew he was going under and could not deliver. He is scum of the earth and deserves everything he gets handed to him especially because my understanding is that LE is involved.

you dont have to be corperation to have LLC, im not saying this to spite anyone or try to start a fight, but im stating it as a fact.
and if thats the case of him NOT being LLC, then good luck with proceeding in legal action. its still all a shock to me. mike did awesome work on my car for a great price making sure my car was top notch before i took delivery. just sucks to see it went the way it did.

Never heard much positive feedback coming out of there. I read through that thread and wow, thats some crazy ****. I hope the ones involved get their money back, especially the guy in for over 8 thousand.
Also, a limited liability company shares qualities of sole-proprietorship and a corporation of which provides the personal liability shield or limited liability protection found in a corporation.. Limited liability corporations, like conventional corporations, do not hold the members liable for the losses, debts or bankruptcy of the business entity. Hence the members are not held individually or personally liable unless there are personal guarantees or fraud. I think in this case even if they were under a LLC structure there's more to it than standard business loss/debt/bankruptcy based on the facts presented and they should be able to proceed with legal action.

Not good at all. I haven't been down that direction for several weeks but I never heard mention of this type of thing happening. Hopefully people get what they are owed and get their cars out in one peice, I hate to see people get screwed like this. I thought that he was going to be able to turn some things around there but I guess I was wrong.

pmoffatt, are you GTO_Patrick from the GTO site? If so, you might want to let people here know about the class-action lawsuit you are proposing on the other site in case there's anyone here who needs to get in on it.

Yes, Thank you for bringing that up. I am trying to get a class action law suit going against Mike and AZPS. Anyone that has been screwed by them please contact me at pmoffatt @ archaeologist.com.
