Sorry to bring this up from the dead, but I was wondering since there is no visual, and its all plug & play, can I keep my TD dumped infront of the rearend, or do I still need to run the exhaust outside of the car?

Suppose I'm resurrecting this from the dead, but I am building my '91 with a 6.0 or 6.2L LSX based on a truck motor. I live in Coolidge, which is outside the Emissions area, but I'm moving to Mesa, which is inside it. The car wont be registered till after we move as I need to wait for it to be road worthy.

I'm curious what I'm going to need to retain in the LSX to pass smog? I hear a lot of conflicting opinions out there. I'm curious how they're going to handle my car because they'll be expecting OBD1 and get an OBD2 connector. If I tell them anything about whats been done to the car I'll likely land myself straight into the sniffer, so I'm curious of I'll need to hook up all the emissions stuff in order to pass?

I don't know why they would want to follow anything that California does, I can't think of anything California politicians have done to better the state.
