I purchased a spare motor (stock LS1) from jason that came out of his car and am getting the cylinders honed and new bearings and rings and gaskets. Only thing thats changing is a ported LS6 oil pump will go in. Thought about getting a 224 cam for it but I'm not sure about that yet. The motor in my car will come out and as money makes itself available it will get forged internals and a H/C package with all supporting mods. Along with rainbow spray

Yeah unfortunately money is a bit tight right now, the spare engine should be in maybe not this weekend but next weekend is looking very promising. The H/C motor on the other hand Will be lucky to see January. Goal is to get it ready before PSCA starts up again which I think is the endish of February. So we will see how that goes.

And your car? Any plans?

i am planning on keeping it stock until i hit a 8.4 then i will maybe do some bolt ons, just simple **** nothing crazy,

i do have another rear end with 4.10's in it i may put in my 02 but well see what happens, i think i will need to buy dr;s before doing the gears,

but for know its bone stock, i think its almost too nice to mod, i may stick with it being stock, havent really decided yet

Its pewter you have to mod it haha, gets some of the dignity back while stealing others away. I think its a nice color but most people think its very senior citizen color. I think its sleeperish..... sort of

yeah im not one for pewter but when i saw the car, and how clean it was, i swear it looks like it just rolled of the show room floor, and it was a slp ss with a good helping of options, i had to buy it, i jsut couldnt let someone else get it regardless of color,

personally my favorite is my white ss, looks sharp classy and easy to wash, cant get any better, my 74 is also white

Yeah, I like pewter but it just sucks because most body mods such as aftermarket hoods and such look like junk on a pewter car. I really like the white SS and SOM SS.

Yeah, but it's not the same watching it when you already know who wins.
