Here's info on a weekly meet. I haven't been there in years though.

Cruise nights

Newbury Park Cruise Night is held at 4:30 p.m. every Saturday, weather permitting. The location is the Newbury Park Gateway shopping center at Kelly and Newbury roads, in front of Kohl's department store.

All high-performance, muscle cars and hot rods are welcome.

There is the harbor, beaches, clubs and stuff like that, 6 flags is an amusement park, Disney land, stuff like that in the LA area. Kind of a small area, if you want to hit really happening spots you'll head out towards the Los Angeles area.

My cousin works for the radio station 103.3 The Vibe and hosts at the whales tail saturday nights, it's ok to hang out and drink, if you ever plan to go let me know I'll have you added to the VIP list so you get in free.

If you're street legal and don't want someone to **** with your car then that place is cool. But if you're not street legal then you'd have to go to another place, his place is legit.

You are from Texas? I thought their smog stuff was pretty easy, hopefully you didn't register an out of state car in california lol. Big NO NO

That's why I am selling my motor and trans and making my Camaro a straight track car, screw all that smog stuff.
