seriously.... who is Ray Mercer in a MMA fight? its like a normal guy trying to win the NCAA wrestling title. he has no busines in the cage. If u watched his fight he has no takedown defense and was easily taken by way of guiatene* (submission choke)
Kimbo know boxing,and limited submissions.
im not try to compare myself to him, but my point is. Im more well rounded than him.
Wrestled in grecco and freestyle for Team oklahoma for 3 years.
Boxed for 4 years and trained for a 1 1/2 years in BJJ.
Not to mention hes like 38years old. hahahaha

One thing you guys dont realize is Kimbo gets tired quickly, he try's to go for the KO fast, and this is Kimbo getting a beat down
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gD5Oh2bHMvw
A Small and fast guy will work Kimbo to the ground, all he has to do is block for a minute.

Kimbo is good really good. He had what it takes to be the best but hes old and he has no endurance. Guys like that you need to wait and he will tire himself out, cant go toe to toe with him on power, but once he is tired you can take him down little by little.

ok. born on February 8, 1974 so ya hes definetely not 45-ish. at anyrate he is too big and not flexable at all to have a submission ground game. he will be a striker/ground and pounder his whole career.

I enjoy watching Kimbo fight, but in the world of MMA any of the lower tier guys in the UFC HW division would submit him in the first round. He was supposed to fight Tank Abbot back in October but it didn't happen for some reason. But even Tank has the ground skills to submit Kimbo, and that's not saying a whole lot. I do hope he improves and one day fights in the UFC, as he has a big cult following and will only help the sport.
