I've used both Mobil1 and Castrol Syntech, Mobil1 in the car right now. I'll be switching to Penzoil Platinum at my next oil change.

Are you sure they weren't talking about the regular Pennzoil? Because only the Platinum is the good stuff. The regular is garbage.

There is a guy on here that has a website all about motor oil, and tests all of them. He's an independant tester, and his results show the platinum to be better than Mobil 1. Its suppose to be the best 'commercially available' oil. I think royal purple and ammsoil are better though. But you usually have to order that stuff.
