anybody know how to make a gun silencer? i heard u can make it out of a metal baseball bat as the base, and the guns with the threaded barrels, is there something special about them? cant i just thread a regular barreled gun?

well a threaded barrel also extends about an inch out of the slide. So once you have that, then yes you "could". But you wouldn't find me doing that, seeing as it wasn't designed to be threaded, i wouldn't want it blowing up in my face due to design flaws/poor craftsmanship. (pretty much making something that shouldn't be)

as for the silencer... i know theres more involved that just putting a tube around it. why wouldn't you just buy one instead of making one?

buying one cost around 5-600 to start 3 months of paperwork + a $200 tax stamp each to own one.

for just a silencer your looking at a starting price of 5-600 for one that actually works, and to own one you need to fill out forms have your local police chief sign off on them and send them in with a check for 200 bucks just for state fees, bad part is you need to buy one have them sent into a FFL the paper work needs the serial #s off the silencer on there mean while you cant take it from the FFL, so if the chief woulnt sign off on the paper work everything is in limbo till you can go higher in the chain to get everything done. its a long drown out deal kinda like buying a full auto weapon.

Louisville Slugger Wood Bat (Ash)
Model:c271 33.5" and 30.5 ounces
I work at a sports store and we had two big foreign guys come in looking for a bat. Heavy accent.

I began helping them find what they needed. Then, I asked them where they play at, expecting some place I have never heard of. The one guy said, "It is not for baseball."

Yep Russian.

I have many experiences with Russians at the hockey rink that I used to play at. Pretty shady people. Not saying they all are just a lot of them.

I woulden try and make one if i where you, they are banned by name and make, there for if you make one or somehow manage to buy one from a free state , will automatically be a felony , not worth it imo
