I bought it back in the day for $600 and did some work to it. I nickeled the barrel too, to match the frame (stainless models had/have a black barrel). I think its worth twice that now.

I also have an SKS that has been customized and a Winchester 1894 30/30 hex barrel that I plan to give my son when he's of age, because it was 100 yrs old the year he was born.

as for the AR-15, I don't even think those are legal any more in California, unless they were grandfathered in before the ban went into effect.

Yes it is illegal. Only clip fed's you can get is a mini14 or a m1a, i plan on getting a mini14 and getting a nice long magazine for it, 10 rounds only, i promise

Ruger mini-14: folding stock, flash suppressor, 100 round drum and four 30 round clips. Ruger p89 old style 15 rd clips with a couple 18rd clips. Grendel 380. Sterling 22 semi auto. Don't have time for playing with them anymore, but have been known to let off a few.

Haha yea, Ive been researching and am figuring around 8 grand for one and will most certainly have plenty of videos, although this prob wont be for a few years. But the research has started, and I will hopefully have the property to shoot it on soon as well since no range around my area can accommodate it

Hey Big Daddy Bry, I don't make stuff up, But I understand talk is cheap.

But what this thread makes me think is this is a group with 2 passions in common. We should plan a meet just past Victorville in the desert (or equivelent) where we can shoot the **** (could not resist the pun) try out different firearms.
