Someone is getting a little heated for no reason. Yes the buyer should know what kind of car they are buying. One that has a REBUILT title. If you read above a salvage vehicle cannot be registered or legally driven UNTIL a rebuilt title has been issued. Which part of that do I need to spell out for you?

California doesn't issue rebuilt titles but they do issue Revived Salvage title, which is not the same as a Salvage Title.
A Salvage Vehicle is a vehicle that has been wrecked or damaged to such an extent that it is considered too expensive to repair. The title, license plates, and a required fee are submitted to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and a Salvage Certificate is issued for the vehicle.
As far as Louisiana goes, they get Reconstructed Title's issued after the repair has been done which is what this car has.

Prior to being a "Revived Salvage" which is issued a "salvage title" its considered a "total loss" its then revived to a salvage title... get it?

you bring a branded LA title into ANY CA dmv... you'll be leaving with a CA salvaged title.... the revived salvage just means its been put back on the road. in the top right corner of the title there is a box, that will have usually nothing for clean titles... but revived cars will say "SALVAGE" in red and capital letters... a police car will say "PRIOR POLICE"... a taxi will say "PRIOR TAXI".... never will it say rebuilt, repaired, revived... etc etc...
thats all I'm sayin man... banks won't even loan on that car here...sorry
well... except Capital One

That's not true. The full coverage insurance on the car is from GEICO but quoted for California rates. Both the Loan Company and the insurance company know the condition of the title. And the bank is also located in California that the car has been financed through. So, I call BS on that.

either way, bout to get off work... so I'm done. Buyer Beware and check with our dmv if you don't believe me

The car already has a loan on it you moron, from a loan company BASED OUT OF CALIFORNIA.
If anyone wants to view the car in person or get it checked out, feel free. Nothing to hide. This car is immaculate.

It has no cats, right, which in Louisiana they don't have smog, so it doesn't matter.
I thought you were getting off of work, whatever work you might have been doing. You out of this thread.

What he is saying is once you try to get a loan and california plates your S.O.L. I havent seen it, it may be clean but it will be salvaged and getting a new loan which someone will most likely need to do unless they have cash in hand will be very hard.
