my price is $650 labor, that includes swapping the valve springs, and pushrods. it also includes misc. fluids that may be lost like coolant.

another vote for CMS!!!..was there with my friend 2 days ago to tune his car..have gone before..ryne knows his stuff and is a very cool guy..(plus he hooked us up with the new deli infront )..CMS is the way to go and im taking my car there soon

That sounds about right. Doing cam swaps isn't exactly easy on F & Y cars. Like my vette (and all others) I had to remove the damn power steering rack, not fun. Heck the labor for a clutch swap on my vette cost me $750... you have to drop the whole bottom of car basically. Head's aren't too bad though, but cleaning off old graphite sucks.. especially since you don't want to use anything metal that might gouge the block, and torquing stock GM head bolts will test your strength....

maybe i should have clarified better, it means labor and coolant.

does not include oil/filter, or parts.

if you want me to provide the parts. you can add

$380 for any spec camshaft
$110 for pushrods
$275-305 for valve spring kit, depends on if you want to go with standard gold spring, or extreme spring.
tuning is $450-550 depending on size of camshaft.

i charge $750 for a cam swap on a vette because of the rack, and $650 for a clutch swap on a vette
