I hear from a movie reviewer that has seen the movie already that it is pretty good, not spectacular but much better than godzilla and the likes. Says they also show the monster more than just a glimpse like everyone was thinking. Thats just what he says, I know for a fact he is a movie reviewer but I don't know for fact that he has seen this movie. Take it as a grain of salt..
