I have a friend who works for Nissan. He said start by checking the distributor. Check for any signs of oil on there. There is a ring in there that tells the ecm/injectors when to shoot fuel. He is about 99% sure that is your problem. There is a seal in the distributor that is not sold seperately and you must buy the whole distributor. Pm me if you have any other questions with it.

Didn't Nissan just have a recall on the crank position sensors? Seems like the symtoms were exactly what you are describing. It's worth checking on.

yeah there is tons of possibilites im leaning more towards the optical sensors being covered in oil, there is no recall on the ckp, just a tsb
