You know what I saw that the thermostat housing is the one that is leaking, so it doesn't over heat unless its out of water

Exactly 500 dollars - I think I am going to donate it, and get a tax break next year it will probably end up helping me out more than just getting 500 dollars.

SIDE NOTE:

LS1's are fu**ing tight - I can't believe that with such little mods you guys are tearing it up in the track - The fastest I went in my Neon SRT-4 was 12.9 @ 109 (320 whp / 350 wtq) - I might end up getting a newer SS or WS6 (2001 - 2002) and going a CAM only route.

Again the steering column is mest up - So its not drivable in my opinion. Plus its not registered so I don't know why would you drive an unregistered , uninsured car around.

assuming it fits i have an 85 z28 i'm parting out and still have the steering column lol so if you buy it and need it let me know.

But what blackhawk means aside from registration if he turns the key will he turn it on and be able to drive it. Does it fire up does it stay running does it shift gears etc although i'm sure battery is toast

i would buy it but i dont like towing. The the column just moves up and down right, like alot of old 3rd and 4th gens. Does the car overheat at all? i could care less about registration i just need it to make it to my house

I honestly feel its not driveable - The steering column is all mest up. No it doesn't overheat unless it is completely out of water. I did turn it on the other day, the check engine was on - then it turned off . It was on for a good 30 minutes and I didn't move it and it didn't overheat at all. It sounds rough. I took it around the block and the car seems to be hesitating. My friend says it could be bad plugs or plug wires. Since its been sitting ther for a while. Again I think its not driveable but if some one wants to check out, maybe your guy's definition of driveablity is different.
