Exclamation Intermittent Starting Problem...STILL!

A few months ago, I posted a thread describing my intermittent startinhg problem with my 1999 Camaro SS. It would turn over, but not start. Once in every 30 tries, it would lite-up like there was no problem, and drive like a dream. when I would get it back home, and turn it off,.....same thing again. Several recomendations where given. I replaced the crank position sensor....same thing. I replaced the cam position sensor...........still the same thing.

Now I don't know what to do.....I tried a new battery. I'm getting 55 psi of fuel pressure at the rails. The pump primes. The fuses seem to be functioning. It just seems that there is no spark when I crank it over, AND THEN SOMETIMES IT JUST WORKS!!!! HELP!!!!!

I'd put money on the IGN relay. When I had my TA it would do the same thing. Swapped out the relay it was fixed..

i had the same problems and i thought it had something to do with the fuel pump. I checked before i replaced it and there was low voltage to the fuel pump and the problem was a bad wire.

Swapped out the ignition relay. Seems to be working. I guessed I overlooked it before. Thanks for the info. Let's see if it keeps working...............

Cool. About every two years I'd have to replace mine. Dunno why, didn't really bother me..
