Almost done. JBA has done a great job of fabricating and everything. Some of the problem has been getting the parts I already had.....I hate having to get the same part twice. Hopefully we'll be firing the motor next week. Then get it tuned.

How's your car running? Good I hope. I can't wait to get on some cruises and track runs with you guys.

So far it's running good, but I have not romped on it yet. I hope it will continue to run good. What kind of numbers do you think you will be putting down when everything is done?

You need to romp on it to seat the piston rings. Don't baby it or they'll never seat properly. Make sure the motors warmed up before doing so.

I'll be happy with 550+. I like to be pleasantly surprised. My whole concept with the motor was to have strength and durability and allowing the motor to flow air well. I want to be able to cruise it whenever I want and race it down the track whenever I want without worry of breaking something. I think it'll do good.

Exclamation Here's an update

If anyone is looking for a house to rent in Bonita, click on this link and check it out. The owner of the house is Rob McDonald, owner of Overkill Motorsports Inc, and I guess he's trying to rent out his house so he can skip town. I got this information from the Chula Vista Sheriffs department when they couldn't locate him to serve the papers. Does anyone know of Rob's wherabouts? A bounty for him may not be out of the question.

I have been doing business with the following for over 15 years, they are mom and pop shops that are reasonably priced and are in poway:

Master Automotive - (858) 748-1500
Mikes Transmissions - (858) 748-6766

I have recommended this shop to fellow LS1 members who were also very satisfied with the work performed.

damn i almost went to overkill last week

since we are at it . Stay away from Hypersport Performance in chula vista san diego. That dude will order parts for you after you put half down and you wont ever get anything from him. Or he will misquote you and after the works been done he will give you a higher price.
