Any LAKERS fans up in here!?!?
Ive notice that other regional sections always talk about their teams, i.e. the Texas forum.... with their Spurs, Rockets, and Mavs. The Easten section with their Football teams. Whats up with the West Coast!? Myself, Im a die hard LAKER fan. And not to mention, the LAKERS tore up the suns last night!!! hahahah. And we dont even have Bynum, Ariza or Mihm back!!!! I dont think anybody can get through us in a 7 game series.

Kwame for Gasol was such a steal but the Grizzlies were liquidating the team and the Lakers got Really Really lucky to pick him up for almost nothing....
When Bynum gets back its gonna be lights out for the rest of the NBA

The lakers were the team to beat without Gasol, but now they are with out a doubt a championship team. They are making a run at the championship and other teams better be ready. They are the real deal this year. I have been a Laker fan for several years; good or bad i dont care. I will always root for them, and this year the the lakers will go the distance. Go lakers

Phoenix didn't get any better, Shaq's main job was to help them in the middle on defense, Lakers dropped 130 points on them without Bynum and with Phoenix being @ home. Shaq should have retired after his last championship run with Miami. Miami scores, saves the 40 million that was owed to Shaq, and will rebuild very fast with or without Marrion and a top (1-3) pick in 2008. Dallas gave away a great young PG who ran the offense really well and defended as well as any other PG in the leauge for a guy with not much left and hasn't played nearly as well as he has in his past. Chris Paul from New Orleans shut Kidd down the entire game...
lots of deals went down but none did as much as Gasol will do for LA
now I gotta break out my old skool 3-PEAT tee ****....

LA does well with the sports we care about. We haven't had a football team in such a long time that it's just not that important anymore except to the politicians that want to bring more money in the city. I know people that like NASCAR, but that doesn't mean everyone likes it or wants to go see the races. I know I'm in no hurry to see one. I'd rather see a Laker game.
I'm a Laker fan all the way. This year looks really good for them too. Can't wait for Bynum and Ariza to come back. LA needs to drop Mihm. We can do more than well without him.

I don't know if a steal is totally correct although it was a great deal. We got rid of Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittenton, the rights to Marc Gasol, a first round pick, and Aaron McKie (but he was just signed to be traded). That's five things to appease the Grizzlies organization. Regardless, we still got Pau, and he's doing good things in LA while being happy.

As for NASCAR, that one's simple, it's the most boring event on the planet. Out here, we like entertainment. NASCAR doesn't do the job.
