GM sent recent letter to all Pontiac dealers. "There will be no forthcoming Trans Am." The economic crisis and cost of retooling has permitted this car from coming on the market. Who knows, we might have had "Smokey & The Bandit II"!

I think GM would be smart to bring these out to help revitalize thier part of the market. This would be a good oppertunity for GM to bring out new products and snag the part of the market that Ford is losing from the boycott. Most of the public do not care GM/Ford/Import, they just care that they get a car they like. People will like this car. People will like the Camaro. They will sell, and GM might even find themselves as the TOP manufacture again.
