Default How much should it cost...

I've decided to take off my body kit. I want to start going to a few body shops to get some estimates for touch ups after I take it off. I understand there are a bunch of holes and maybe some paint that will peel off. I want to make sure I don't get ripped off (I've had bad experiences). What do you guys think would be a reasonable estimate? And if anyone knows of some good places in OC or SOCAL, feel free to let me know and I'll check it out. Thanks in advance.

Haha. Well I figured if I took it off myself I wouldn't be chargred for the extra time and labor. The bodyshop that the previous owner took the car to did such a shitty job with the body kit, it makes it look so tacky. I can't wait to get it off.

Bodykits are typically put on with screws and double-sided tape right?

This is the only part I'm worried about, they painted right over the connection of the body kit and the front bumper cover.

less than a thousand. if that cracks when removed like you are saying ,you are looking at front and rear bumbers and rocker moldings to be repainted, im guessing in the neighborhood of 900 dollars if you go to the place i told you about.

yeah, if its just the front you may get away with low bucking it and having him blend in the best that he can, which in all honestly is what i would do to the front of the car, its just gonna get banged up again no stopping it unless you get the clear bra, which is what im saving for.

i rarely mess with exterior things that arent oem, so you would be the first i have known to do that, what i would do is look in his trader rating and email some of his customers with camaro or something like that in their name and ask them there honest opinion on that product, thats what i always do, some people are really helpfull if you just give them a chance, maybe even get some pics of the product installed, try it out let me know what you think
