I never liked his show, I always thought that half the people on it were a bunch of ********...
but....
I still am saddened. No matter if I like a person or not (and it's not like i personally knew him) It's always a bummer to hear of someone's death. I pray for his family and those involved. He might not have been an all around favorite, but he definately was a legend in the automotive world. I did enjoy the Make-a-wish foundation episode, where they built a hot rod with/for that kid dying of terminal cancer... that was one of the better sides of Boyd

Chip used to work for Boyd until he started doing his own thing. Thats why Boyd **** a chicken when Charlie the painter wanted to paint some special show car for Chip. Ever since then Charlie has been painting for Chip.
