Thanks, im actually gonna be repainting the car soon...since Im gonna be throwing on a different hood and spoiler. The car is getting ready to get a tummy tuck and a facelift...lol

I took it to mean that flake = chunk, and not just the normal paint that would be removed under the nut. If you tighten the nut down on a semi-appearance piece and and inch of paint falls off, then it looks to be of poor quality/prep. And that would irk me too.

i just got off the phone with slp and they are going to replace my brace for free, now hopefully the new one they send me is the flat black one rather than the gloss black.

no i dont have sfc's yet, i cant justify the bolt on ones without welding them in, and i cant justify welding on my car either, i dont know what to do, i do need them thou

you need to get over it, it's in the best interest of the car, get some UMI weld in's, and have a good welder weld them in nice and clean, then paint over the welds and move onto h/c! lol

yeah ill probably just weld them in my self, are you talking about the 3 point ones? or just the standard tubular ones?

I like the 2 points better myself. I don't see the 3 points being a whole lot more effective. And they look weird, and must add weight as well. I also like that with the boxed 2 points you can jack the car up from them. Thats what I have ont he WS6, and thats what i'm putting on the SS

if it really bothers you, call them, sometimes you do get lucky and get a new one. I want the BMR STB on mine. BTW, I finally found a place last week, my garage is still all in boxes, I can't wait to unpack it all and start moddin' my Z.

California taxes and real estate suck!!!!

the rest I can live with.
