for anyone in the south bay, there was one on the fastlane side of south bound 101 just past the east dunne exit tuesday... scared the crap outta me cuz i was wot in 3rd racing a m3... lol

there is one on the 215 s entrance from university all the time, i was going past it yesterday made it to about 50mph and turned the car off and rolled thru. the cop that was sitting there laughed gave me the thumbs up for the idea and i started it and just peaced the **** out

i foudn out my fucing econ teacher is the douche setting **** like this up all over So Cal!!!! he is an "environmental economist" and works for the state to heklp reduce the global warming thing....
he drives a hybrid and used a few choice words with me when he found out my mods/car hahahaha

But the dilema is Cops get behind me and pass me all the time and never pull me over (knock on wood)..For nada..
Just yesterday i was trying to teach my girl to drive my car, and a Riverside cop pulled behind her, and got in the other lane and passed us by?..And my **** is pretty loud..
But any of you going that way, please let me know if you see one..

How are they setup?
Is it on the on ramps where you have to stop next to it?... Similar to the lights letting you on the freeway in rush hour... or is it ment to catch you when your driving on the freeway?
Seems like it would be easier to fool if its along the freeway. Would suck if you had to actually sit next to it... exhaust out to roof? lol

well the ones on the freeway entrances are "for testing purposes" only, and they read your o2 levels as you get on. They are placed by the traffic light. I guess if you read dirty you get a courtesy notice.
The thing I saw today was a CHP check point. You have to drive through it.
They are probably checking licenses, insurance, registrations, drunks drivers (it is cinco de mayo) as well as smog.

I just dont know how they can read your o2 levels from you just by getting on the freeway, dont they need a type of sniffer to read any level of emissions?
