so is the racing saturday? or the show and race? whats the deal? i want to trailer the car there for the racing day just in case i break the rear end, but if racing is on sunday ill drive the car asaturday.

i say we meet up 6:30, i know there will be LOTS of cars there, i want to beat most of them.

exactly, basically i talked to the events cooridinator, the racing will be as follows. you get their sat pay your 60 bucks to race, get 2 passes, then you come back sunday and compete in a dot street legal eliminations. basically you keep racing someone with out being in a class of time, just race whoever till you lose, if you win the comp i think you win money, i didn't ask about that, was too busy making fun of this whole setup to the guy saying how dumb it was.

there is also a class of racing called the true street challenge, you cruise around town for 30 miles with all these stupid ******* rules,then come back to the strip and bracket race, wow! sounds like a ******* waste of time to me.

basically this is a bunch of bullshit as far as the racing is concerned, i will be there on sat. for the car show. there is two kinds there is show n shine, and then you can enter your car into be judged in its category. stock modified or street, basically if our camaro's came in with mod's it will be considered street.

 

hm, so $60 to race period? then you get 2 runs saturday and then sunday you race til you loose? So i can go up against a top fuel car and as long as i win i can continue? ROFL

so on saturday ill have to race and show...cool i can be two placed at once, but i dunno if my car can. how lame.

****, so I might not race, i heard about a private track day coming up next month, i guess ill just wait for that.

So im only showing. I still wanna get there at 6:30, for anyone who wants to get there bright and early.

your painting your intake?

 

yeah. how is yours holding up? I did my intake and coils. the coils came out perfect. The mani looks good too, but gave me some problems. when i laid my SOm paint then moved on to the clear. the paint started falling for some reason. maybe its because it was getting cool at the time. weather wasent that great. The mani didnt react well with the clear so i had respray it a few more coats with the SOM. the coils reacted fine. I used.
adhesive promotor,primer,SOm paint,and clear.
