file a complaint..believe me you will make his day a living hell aswell..especially when an officer is accused of racial profiling..he'll have to check in with his chief and write a paper describing what excatly happen..not to mention if this isnt the first time its happen his chief will notice and start asking questions, and also the number of complaints an officer gets really hurts him in his job..either way dont let his *** get away with it

File the complaint. Hire a lawyer that knows what they're doing. Take it up in court & subpoena the PD for the video tape.

Traffic officers are required to have their camera on at all times while they are on duty. It records everything. Even down to displaying whether or not he/she is on the brake or gas pedal.

If they fail to provide to the subpoena then you can probably have the ticket thrown out and request the court to have the PD pay your attorney's fees.

I plan on calling during my lunch to file the complaint. I got the cops last name, which is Weathers or Wethers.....something like that. I was just so pissed at the time that didn't see how exactly you spell his name.

Most cops use personal audio recorders in their pockets and record every contact. It is used for their protection most of the time but can be used to help them remeber details or as evidence if they get dragged into court.

For example when they ask you "Do you know how fast you were going?" and you reply, "I don't know" they will use that in court. You can't argue that you weren't speeding if you claim you don't know how fast you were going. Then the guy can say whatever.

I would complain If I were you. Call the station and ask for a supervisor or watch commander. You could just drop in and ask for the form. They may have it online...

I was just going to mention that he keep a voice recorder in the car, given how often he's pulled over.

Do everyone a favor and file the complaint. Don't do it from the perspective that your ticket was wrong, do it from the perspective that you think you were treated unfairly and that what the officer said was out of line.

Personally I wouldn't argue the ticket because it will make the complaint look motivated by anger over the ticket instead of how you were treated poorly.

Well just finished filing the complaint and I was right it was Beverly Hills PD...I checked out the ticket and the officer abbreviated his first name but he did it really sloppy where I can't tell if its a D, S, G, O or R. He also scribbled his badge number. I mentioned all this and they said i would be receiving a phone call in within 48 hours to give me a follow up and response from the officer and chief commander.

Sorry to hear of this happening bro. But they're all right. Now that you've filed the complaint, it will get you the best possible results. Chances are this cop has had similar complaints in the past, which will only solidify your complaint against him.

Cops like this deserve what they got comin, they don't belong on the streets. Imagine what would happen to cops like this in prison?
