You are correct, most of the mustang drivers around here roll out to 4k when strolling through gears. It reminded me of that, just not as bad, kinda 3-3.5k rpms then shift. Not trying to be a dick, just an observation. I'm more of a stay under 2k and shift quicker to get through the gears and not alert anyone around. I was going to come up and shoot the ****, but traffic was crap.

They took 6 months to do an engine swap? What kind of F(*^(*(*& g deal is that?
Also, Car Craft mag got 500hp out of same engine with smaller cam and shorty headers.

First, you should read his thread on his build.
Second, is this the Car Craft article you're talking about? http://www.carcraft.com/projectbuild...ock/index.html
If so, you misrepresented it badly.

short story long...
my stock engine blew up in southern california...
I dropped the car off at Rynes shop
I live in Phoenix now... so while I've been back in Phoenix, there was no real hurry on getting the car back right away. He ordered parts here and there, and worked on it on and off when the parts arrived (the heads took forever! NOT CMS's FAULT) as he had many other cars he was also working on in the shop... and since mine wasn't gonna be able to be picked up till way later, why get in a hurry? I was in no hurry, and I let him know that...
