its funny, ive been pulled ove many times, never been asking about cats, and once i was ticketed for no front plate, but Ive never had a front plate.

Pulled over for being out on a "known race night". They popped my hood and and seen the LT's, then asked me. Of course i didn't have them, of course i lied. They said they didn't wanna waste their time on a v6 SS look-a-like LOL!!!! I nearly threw up in my mouth i was trying soooooo hard not to laugh in his face. That was CHP.

Pulled over for "speeding" late at night. Lady cop got down and looked under my car lol. Was never ticketed, told to drive safely and let go. That was CHP.

Never been asked, and I've owned at least 6 heavily modded late model cars in the last couple of years. In Fresno the fuzz will get you if your a youngster or go around piping every car you pull up next to. Seems that there are HUNDREDS of race cars on the street here LOL that like to make racket off every traffic light like I see EVERYDAY.
I think it matters mostly AGE, what you look like, how your dressed, what your doing, and your attitude. CHP around is the same if your looking for a ticket you'll most likely find one.....
