Either he cut a 1.8 60' or better or he is lying about what he has... 85 mph is to high for those cars to... All i see are like 81-83 with those mods... As for the Quarter mile haha... sorry a 8.5 1/8th is not going to get you a 12.9 in a mach or GT stang... Unless your making alot more power then most bolt ons can give you....
i beg to differ here is my old little 2v n/a it made 298, hooked and went. It put down less hp then a mach 1 is with bolt ons.

Isn't it 3600 vig stall? I helped him get that 7.7 and the low 1.6 60'

what you forgot to mention was the right front head light delete. My friend did that and it made a huge difference in weight transfer.

but that is a damn stout n/a 2v, that is a nice car and a good build.

a lot of the guys end up swapping out the rears of the mustangs too because they are irs just like the gto. So that is not a really big deal but they are stronger then ours.

only 99 up cobras has irs's reg mustangs dont. To answer the other question a hci 2v (not 4v) will make about 340-350rwhp.

Well I'll break it down like this my camaro ss is 3626 with me in it and runs 12.5@108. My little 2v was 3250, car had more in it cant really hear it but was having issues with the tranny that day. My 2v i ran in good da's my ss hasnt seen a da below 2600 (think i had a 2600 day most are 3k days). My 2v had a lot of work i dialed in the suspension it had a tubular kmember, drag launch springs, lca, uca, slicks & skinnies, alum driveshaft, alum flywheel , battery in the trunk, you name it. My ss has lca's, lowering springs, and 17" rims with drag radials (just added relocation brackets at this time no change to 60'). I have skinnies sitting on my floor and in 2 weeks my rear drag rims will be in. That should put my car at around 3580 or so and then we will see

yeah ruckus just clarified only 99+ cobras have it, mach 1's are a solid mustang due to the solid rear and the 4v motor, a strong car for sure but all other stangs still have a live axle rear

See there is the difference between your old 2v and most of the ones that guy was talking about, you had full suspension pretty much and had it dialed in pretty damn well.

Thats why that guy was saying he hasn't seen the cars go real fast with the mods, crappy drivers and stock suspension.
