ya i got a garage, but not big enough to work in. I can barely fit the car in there. Scratch it man, no worries. ill just take it in. have them do the wires too

Haha, I did my clutch swap in a garage that I could barely fit in. Ask CaliforniaBoy5.

Trust me, its confined...If I hug the wall on the passenger side, I still have to lay the drivers seat all the way down and slither out of the car.

****.... you win. i can open my door all the way if i hug the wall on the right. well let me know i have the seal already. I got a compressor and impact gun. and that batch of tools that i brought with me last time.

i was there 2 hours on thursday and 5 hrs on saturday.. **** is confined man...lol.

it is a 1 car garage meant for nothing else but 1 car.... it's hard enough putting the car inside and opening the door to get out........

i can't imagine yours being that confined but i do know now that RMS is a fucken huge task as you must take the tranny off.

woah woah. From what ive herd its just take out the drive shaft. take off the tailshaft housing, switch out seals, and put on a new extension housing gasket for the tailshaft housing. no removal of trans necessary.

your silver SS is stick huh? from what ive herd the auto trans is easy.

1. Out comes drive shaft
2. Off comes tailshaft housing
3. Switch Seals
4. Re-install tailshaft housing with extension housing gasket
5. Re-install drive shaft
6. Go racing

this is what ive herd.

LOL, that's why I asked if the rear main transmission seal = rear main seal. We are not talking about the same thing. Should be simple compaired to what I had to do.

Yup that was my car he did an awesome job, he knows his stuff!! taught me a lot to, hopefully we get that opti before saturday that would be great!!! thanks again man saved me a lot of money!
