I'm in the same boat, looking to get a "vintage" (using that loosely) bike to bob (like a Honda CB or Yamaha or something)...

Anyways, here is a DMV backed place others have mentioned:

well the daytona looks great power is decent, handles good its just so damn tall and uncofortable. I'm 5'11 and i can barely reach while the bike is upright while on my gixxer i can bend my knees. Its set up more aggresive it would make a great track bike but on the street compared to my gsxr it for example When i rode from Downey to Angeles crest my wrists were hurting and kinda started going numb. lol a little exagerating but they kind of did. I also didn't feel comfortable in the turns but i'm sure that had a lot to do with me not wanting to go down on someone elses bike. The biggest draw back i think is that parts aren't as readily available for it as with the jap bikes

The pic is at ACH by the ranger station on the daytona and my boys 06 GSXR 600

I just took the writen test, then came back and did the ride test. If you know how to handle your bike you can take the ride test with ease.

I pay $104 full coverage.

$50 is a great price, especially for an 06 1000. I'm about to get another vehicle so let me know what I can do. Thanks!

the busa went 8.7x with a competent rider on hi boost, my best was 10.08 and was one of the scariest things of my life haha. i rode it on th street constantly and it was a smooth ride unles you just cracked it on the freeway into boost.

i rode the 1000 around willow and fontana a few times before i sold them

im thinking about getting an 08 1000 or another 05/06 busa this summer
