Thats why i figured gloss looked better...satin or flat looks like its still in primer, lol.
(and I know the "real Berger" cars had them in semi-gloss or flat, but mine's not a real Berger car anyway)

DO NOT do your rear panel in gloss black... First of all, that is not a Berger panel (none of their cars came gloss black) and it is not a tribute to the roots of the car (no panels on old Camaros were painted gloss black).
It looks retarded on any car to any true car enthusiasts it really does look like someone just got a panel off a black car and didn't paint it.
Satin black makes a statement to any gearhead (stop letting a girl decide how to mod your car, the person I am talking to knows I am talking to them...) that you know what you are doing and did it for a reason, gloss black says the opposite.
It is not an appearance plus (in other words it doesn't make the car look better aesthetically traditionally) but says "bad ***" to thoughs in the know and those trying to have a "pretty" "berger" and go gloss black are the biggest oxyMORONS out there![Icon Lol](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_lol.gif)
SO, I say satin black berger and and satin black 35th anniv. scoop insert (just like the ZL1 cars) and gloss stripe to match the wheels...

^^^But then, they are just posing like they are a true berger camaro. So until you see a rear-tail panel (sometimes called a "Berger" panel for short), that someone paints gloss black and then tries to duplicate berger's signature on the back, then you can't really call the rest of the people out there with gloss black oxymorons.
I can't speak for everyone else out there that changes their rear-tail panel, but as for me, I do it to change the look of my car so it doesn't look like every other camaro around my city. And some cars just look better with gloss then they do with flat black or satin.
And of course all the above is just my opinion, probably not worth much to most of you, oh well.
