I was pleasantly surprised when I heard Tad was tuning my car.

I know tad from back in the LT(x) days and I know he is a stickler for perfection and knows his stuff inside and out.

The tune on my car is spot on, i gained about 40hp overall... I am stoaked!

Good to hear. He was the one who originally tuned my car and just curious as to what he was up to.

Thanks

Hi all,

Congrats Troy.

Confirmed:
I used to work at Race-Prep it was a great shop that was mis understood
I have high standards for my own work
Been tuning for money and love for 8+ years
I work at Haddad Motor Sports 3-4 days a week
I have my own customers seperate from HMS as well
I have worked with George Laura and he is a very good tuner

Un Confirmed
final word on George Laura should come from Mike Haddad himslef, it is his shop
if you have an Impala or LT1 powered car I may know what to do with it
you may be mistaken if you think you can get around cones faster than I can in my B-body

1 day of dyno time
and we would review his datalogs after he had been to the track

I could have got more if he had a wideband at the track
but ya do what ya can

He could not finish the car as he is taking Mad Units at a big $chool.

That thing sure hooks.
The exhaust work was top notch and converter build perfect!

A real winner for the investment.

i have not seen any of Tad's work, but i have seen some of George lara's work, and i have to admit, his tunes seem very spot on IMO, even a certian twin turbo camaro that came in had a very decent 2 bar tune in it, all i had to do a rescale the injectors for 60lbers and do some simple ve adjustments and the car ran pretty good. i think if anyone was to pick Me, Haddad (george lara or tad) for tuning i think they made a right move IMO, that is just my two cents

Thats very stand-up for you to say. I have to admit, I had a tough decision to make when i got my tune as Ive heard good about both shops, but too many of my close friends went to HMS and that was the final factor. If i had to do it over again, id go back to HMS or I would go to CMS, both seem like great options.

His exhaust work was really great! Great clearance and great sound. If you can, could you PM where he got that done, he told me the area the shop was in but did not mention the shop.
