My coworker said she'll know by Friday whether or not she wants the shorties. I just installed an SLP lid on her car today.

how much hp gain do you get from shorties as apposed to long tubes? cuz I wanna keep my car completely legal.

You can probably get ~10 rwhp out of shorties where LT's can get you up to 25 rwhp.

for some reason when you said LTs I thought you meant lt1 motors, I am not good with this internet lingo even tho I should have got this one, but at the same time I dont care to learn.

I see. If you want to stay legal in Cali, shorties are pretty much your only option. If you are willing to bend the rules, you can get LT's and pay for the more expensive "friendly" smog test. It's your choice.
