HEy eddie if u still need the helmet look for me that day, more than likely im going to be around (cms) my name is carlos and there all snell approved , i will take both off them just incase someone needs another one

Hey i am not going to the invasion but i will be down at sd city college till like 7 tongint for a class if you want to meet me there you can. Ya I picked up a cheap open faced helmet for $75-80 and I got a discount cause it was blemished (scratches on top, whoopie). Got it a Cycle World.
Dan is correct Snell 2005 or newer is the new NHRA requirement, the guilde/standard by which most tracks go.
Except LACR in their closing days they did not give a S**t. I ran with the top down, windows down oh ya.

A helmet is required for the driver of any car or truck running 13.99 seconds or quicker in the quarter mile, and for the rider of any motorcycle. Most drivers can use a helmet meeting SNELL K98, M2000, SA2000, M2005, or SA2005 specifications. Professional category and some alcohol burning vehicles require an SA rated helmet. It is important to note that the helmet rating must be designated on a tag INSIDE the helmet, or sewn to one of the helmet straps. The designation stenciled on the exterior of the helmet is insufficient for NHRA technical inspection. Also, some tracks require a helmet on ALL drivers, so check in advance.

And if you all get any faster next year we'll have prebent roll bars, a tig welder, 5 pt safety belts, fire extinguishers and helmets ready to go.
