Did you have to let off for some reason?I trapped 108.5 on Nittos at 15PSI with 318RWHP and 310RWTQ...
Man that driveshaft took a beating!!! Glad to see it wasn't any worse and you and the car are safe

14.22 at 103 mph with the Nitto 555R's hooking hard off the line enough to bogg the **** out of the car but I was only launching at 2,000 to 2,500. Time was good enough to win the 13+ second bracket (B-4).

I had a crazy day times all over the place, includung one where I started in reverse
. Here's my best though 13.2 @ 105. This is a new bwest for me. My car kept bogging down. I kept trying to correct it but it just kept doing it. My first run I got a ses light for multi cylinder misfire. Oh well, good fun even thought my first run wasn't untill 10:04. What happened to an 8 am start. They ran it on cp time.

I don't know how anyone can say the track prep was not good we broke 12 cars and took the track down for a total of 2 hours because of it.
I told the sponsors to bring Drive shafts and rear ends next year to sell
We were supposed to start racing at 9am, I will push next year for them to be more punctual.

and next time im hopin for some bottle to go with the fun i already had roflfirst time at the track with the GTO so i was really happy, and considering i was getting better with each pass
i know she had atleast another .5 in her!

i heard that the track was hooking.. all my buick buds were pulling off great 60ft's.. one had a 1.39 on a foot brake launch.. trans brake launches were around the mid 1.4xs...
i guess that people breaking drive shafts and rear ends meant there wasn't VHT down for grip
.. as for the starting time.. PEOPLE this was the first event, things happen..

plus prep must not have been too bad, i cut a 1.53 60ft on stock irs gto (airbags of course) with tiny 26-11.5-16 et streets, with no tubes and stock 16" trans am wheels

We started around 10:30 and ended around 5:30. I thought track prep was nice! I had never felt such a sticky surface! Although it sucked cus i didnt sign up for a bracket, only test and tune. The whole day was set up for bracketing tho, so normal racing had to wait over and over again! I raced almost everytime and only did 6 runs!
Then right as I am getting the track and car figured out, they shut down early!
