thanks for the help guys. i might go to cali for my next duty station and just want to make sure what i do to the car here in hawaii wont have to get torn apart in cali.

im guessing the high flow cats are legal. does anyone know if deleting the muffler on my exhaust(dual/dual) will fail me?

High flow cats and no muffler will pass the sniffer, but will likely fail the visual inspection if you get an **** smog station inspector. It's also pretty hard to deny that you don't have a muffler when you get pulled over by the cops.

the visual part for the muffler doesnt scare me too much, usually the guys on base are leniant.

im at kaneohe marine base on oahu.

the tests for cali can be done on base. either at the hobby shop or they usually have a firestone on every base. mainly was worried about the actual emissions because it seems like that would be the hardest one to play off
