just remember its not the police its the politicians who make those laws that the police enforce. not saying that the police cant be douche bags. but personally i havent had to many problems with them. just hate the politicians enacting laws to make hippies happy.
I remember how much **** I took from some dumbasses when I said DUI checkpoints were a bad idea. I guess they now have expanded into smog check points. In Tracy Ca. they do seat belt checkpoints, but in realty they check everything. Next they will be doing random searches of your house to make sure you are using CFL's.
That's bullshit. Heads-ups are always welcome bro. These things are one of the reasons (aside from gas prices) why I'm looking for a DD right now.
And +1 for most cops not bein dicks. Most won't give u **** unless you're doing something stupid. Last time I checked with an officer (less than a year ago), only CHP was authorized to do road-side smog checks and they can chose who is subjected to them.
