there is a 388 stroker shortblock here in San Diego craigs list for $1800 seems really well built and he said it is still brand new

he should just buy a 350 and switch over all the parts, i have also seen Lt1's at the junkyard

The motor is good, I can get you a list of parts if he wants the long block. TB to oil pan idk 1500obo... Although i guess that would require me taking out the motor first... I've been itching to do an LSx based swap but haven't jumped yet... This might kick start that, or not... lol I really just need to finish my exhaust and get it dyno tuned and it'll be back to normal...

look on craigslist. some guy selling a 98 motor with a 4l60e tranny with it for 1500

Yes, the LM7 is a 5.3 liter iron block.
I'm pretty sure the one I can get is a LM7.

I see complete LM7's on fleabay for 300 or under all day long... I wanted to start with a 6.0L iron block and go from there...
