mini me So anyone that was at LA invasion might have seen the model that i made of my car. I started with a 2002 LE SS and i modified the spoiler to be like the 95-97 one, painted the engine bay to be like mine, made SBCs, a STB, tranny brace, Whistler headlights, and a few other mods.
well the problem i was stuck at was the hood, wheels, FRCs, and lowering it. well last week i lowered it and i got a z28 model for the hood. now im in search of a 1/25 scale 2000-2004 C5 model for the wheels and FRCs.
I also have some touch up to do on the top. i did cut the t-tops out ofthe z28 model i got but the paint got messed up, so im using it as a parts car.

sorry the pics are blurry, i couldnt get my camera to focus properly, and now the LCD is broken on it and cant take any more pics.
you cant tell from the pics, but i used the factory touch up paint to paint this, so its an exact match in color to my car.

haha yes...thats exactly what happened.

ive seen the z06, i need a non Z. the only mom Z06 C5 models ive found are pre-00, so the rims are wrong. i have however found some diecast C5 non Z06 models, i might bite the bullet and get that.

haha thanks David, and i know what you mean about the SCs. i can also hit up downtown fullerton, buy some girls some drinks, and get more than jsut looks for the same or less money.

i have a model too except firebird!!
i should post some pics up of mine. it was a lot of fun to build. the painting part got me though because i have no patience so i jsut spray painted everything. lmao.
