That's gonna be a stretch so before I reply for real, let's hear it.

**** if I know, was browsing around on DTV and came across this movie on Turner classic movies called the fast and the furious. Came out in like 29 or something... Had a bunch of old school cars in it.

Maybe I went a little far to call it a remake.. More like a title steal.

It's like they are running out of original ideas. What will they remake next Running Man?

Maybe Madmax, or Water World

I wasn't gonna blast you, didn't mean to come off that way. I just read "1920's" and thought there was a problem.

It was 1955, and you're right, they bought the rights to title only (according to IMDB).

The one in 1939 was more of a con game movie, if I remember right. It was just called "Fast and Furious". I watched it late one night while I couldn't sleep.

No harm done.

I was buzzed and it was late, anything movie that I watch when those two things are active is automatically a 20's movie =]

Talking about quick remakes, I just read the synopsis for this movie called Kush, and although the details are slightly different, the storyline is very similar to Alpha Dog (which only came out a few years ago).

That is a great movie, well done, and very emotional. No need for a re-make.

I agree and I was surprised that it was good. Who would have thought Justin Timberlake can act?

Do yourself a favor and put it in your Netflix queue.
