So how did they end up catching this ******? Did the bank red flag your purchase cause of the amount being purchased? Or did someone notice the cloned card?

My bank and SS# have a red flag on them due to another issue. So they must call me to verify any large purchase, they couldn't get ahold of me at my old number , so they denied the purchase. I wish they would have gotten me on the phone so i could have told them it was a bullshit purchase!!!!

I've had this happen to me twice now. When I lived in Riverside I got a call from B of A saying that someone used my account number on a homemade check and instead of signing it they said the guy wrote authorized by account owner or something like that. It was a check made out to Sprint for cell service. I had to go to the bank and get a new account.

The last time was late last year when I got an e-mail from B of A saying they put a stop on all account activity. I was at the buffet for pizza and I wasn't able to use my debit card. They said some idiot used it at Rite Aid in NY. They told me they usually use cards at Rite Aid to test them since they don't card for purchases over $20. This time I just had to get a new debit card with new number.

It sucks and I hope they find out who it is.
