yea i made one...it was a lil rough but the same concept...on that link i provided the guy really mades a good one...my was a piece of ****...but man it really got the air in the lid especially at higher speeds with that air rushing in...i actually put my room fan right under the bumper to c if i could feel the difference from the slp cold air induction to the extended version...and jsut with my room fan i could feel a difference in air flow(i put my hand where the air rushes in from under the lid...

there is are some problems with the sheet metal though...

1)it sticks out like a sore thumb (unless ur willing to paint it black)
2)watch our for steep driveways especially with lowered vehicles

i jsut bought the austin ram air extension...it is plastic and is black so it blends in with the air deflector...its less of an eye sore

Btw i did have that knock before my TB... i actually suspect that A/C is causing it, because when i WOT without A/C on there is no knock... during the run i found that A/C was on but set on low...

Yeah it scared the **** out of me the first day I had the car when it hit 4k RPM and just bogged up real bad. I was about to be pissed at the seller.

^^^ true the a/c shuts off! i was racing an evo, then after the a/c shut off on its own it was like a turbo i was passing him hahahah!! btw FTRA is track proven but not so much on a dyno, no ram air

****... than i might have a problem... i was told i need a tune with a ported tb btw... thats why its knocking
