Go take a look at some of gangreen's sigs. He is a professional computer designer or some BS. He does wonders with the sigs. They are in the multimedia section under photoshop request and such. His are really the best on here.

no it actually flows. sometimes simple is better. I can agree100% with that.
and the letters. Like I said I like to keep things simple and subtle, although I only think you like it because of Dan's wife
