m6 as you can tell by my sig. I never drove a stalled auto, I am sure its lots of fun but I really ejoy the fact that I have skills and just keep getting better everytime I drive. I believe stick shift is for drivers and auto is for speed freaks!

One thing too, to me its a waste to have an 4 gen f-body and use it for drag, the cars have so much potential on the race track. Just my opinion.

i cant vote cause i love each equally the same, a4 was cool,. i guess consistent and didnt worry to much when racing at the track, just touch and go, but the m6 car deff brings more to the plate, i love ripping gears at the track, and around town, i guess when i feel lazy and just wanna chill the a4 car is great, long trips, track visits and having fun around town m6.

all i know is when i was buying my second ls1 so many great deals came up for a4, but i had to pass them all up cause i couldnt have just one, you have to have both, plus i grew up ripping gears in my old camaro with a factory 4 speed, now that was fun

i kinda get what your saying but to an extent as far as street car goes, a manual car ussually will trap a higher speed

this is like asking to you would you rather screw hot girl or the hot pornstar with an std. You know the ones going to preform a lot better, but dont want to take the chance

I am slightly biased towards an A4 because I own one, but at the same time manuals do have that fun factor to them. My stalled A4 definitely drives like a completely different car vs. stock... it's a whole different ball game and definitely adds that missing fun factor to the A4. Once this car is no longer a daily driver though, I still do want to do a conversion because however precise and simple to drive my A4 can be... you still can't replace the sense of satisfaction each time you notice you're shifting skills are improving in the manual. I didn't vote because each one of them serves a purpose and has something to offer that the other doesn't.

people would pay more for a m6...again because most people are bias toward maunuals...but like i said, i like to race my car and race it alot in the streets...still on the same tranny and never had to take it apart with hypertuners max shift firmness...i have never lost a race because i missed a shift...which i bet gets pretty annoying to you...if you are really a great, great, driver then go m6 for some street racing but im not and most people suck...cool factor m6 to some extent...a4 for constancy....ae13291 i have the same mods you have in my 98...get some tires with you driving....lets see who the "cool" guy is at the finish line....

great, tires have already arrived to the tire shop! how about roll race 30mph roll? i know that a4's are amazing for drag strip use with just a stall and shift kit, any dummy can sit in the a4 and run great times, for an m6, its to many ways to **** up during a race, thats why people choose the a4

any dummy? so you want to go from 30mph, you want your sweet spot, do you also want me to wait 'till you figure out what pedal is your gas and clutch..how about i give you a couple of lengths while we are at it...lets do two races...one from 15mph and another from a dig...i bet the dummy will win.

wow so offensive, did i call u the dummy?? no, going off the line is not much easy, and harder for an M6, since u dont have to shift, roll race would be pretty fair, but then autos arent the best at roll races

i wouldnt say anyone can go to the track and run a good time with a stalled a4. I know someone on here that ran a 13.0 and then somoene else got in there car and went 12.7 the next pass

but the key for a stalled auto is to get it off the launch. correct?
