Default Which wireless headset are you using

So after reading the other thread, it might help if we all mention which headset were using, and how it works.

im using the Motorola N136, which sells for $99.99. It has noise canceling and its bluetooth.

so far so good. its not very comfortable (the rubber ear thing doesnt fit right) but its lightweight, and i can hear just fine. Some people say that I sound kinda mechanical on their end. It was between this and the jawbone, but the jawbone was sold out.

Something funny, on 97.1 I heard an advertisement for a hands free kit from the "99Cents only Store". No joke. I'm sure thats quality.

On a side note, I think I'm gonna just tint my front windows limo tint again. See how long that last. Either way, are we really gonna stop using our cell phones behind the wheel?

I too am curious, whats everyone using?

I can't stand having something in my ear... I just don't like it so I bought a bluetooth speaker by Parrot that clips onto the sun visor. It was only $86 at Circuit City. It has voice activated dialing, it downloads your address book via bluetooth, and it has noise cancellation. So far people say I sound clear and normal even when I have my windows down. I was considering getting the Parrot bluetooth that installs into your dash then you can hear people via your car speakers and it silences your music on it's own when you get a call; but I didn't think it was worth it for me since I'll be buying a new car that comes with this feature at the end of this year. So for now with the T/A this sun visor clipped bluetooth works great- I can have my phone anywhere in the car and it still works.... I put my phone under the passenger seat to test it and it still worked fine.

I just got a new contract and all with verizon, so I opted to get the bluetooth earpiece. I got one the same make as the voyager phone, LG. I think the model number is LG-770 for the earpiece. It works fine but I really don't like having anything in my ear either. I may look for that visor clip one you got at circuit city.

Bluetooth is rated at 30 feet of range so I would think placing it anywhere in your car is sufficient.

I used to sale wireless headsets for your cell phone and hands down the best brand to go with is Plantronics... from there it just depends on what features you want.

I got the Alpine W205 and a BT200, but may not use the BT200 cuz the Blackbird that I also got with it, already has bluetooth phone option built in. The only reason to keep the BT200 is the phone menu is on the top level of the alpine (like DVD, ipod, tuner, sattelite, nav) versus, having to switch to nav first then to the phone on the nav's menu.

Cool Motorola T305

I refuse to wear an earpiece, so I bought the Motorola T305. It has voice activated dialing, and noise canceling. Mounts to the visor not the ear. I used it yesterday and everybody said it sounded like I was talking on my phone. If you google it you can find it for $39 or you can pay $79 at BB.

i had a motorolla h700 that was ok, but eventually tossed it for a plantronics voyager 510. then i picked up a plantronics voyager 815, which is great... but i keep falling back to my plantronics voyager 510.
i think i'm on my 3rd 510 now. first one was lost in a friend's couch, 2nd one i have in my car and forgot about it when i found my first one, 3rd one i bought because i was away for work and needed a headset.

i've tried other headsets, but the 510 just sounds the best. i usually switch back and forth with the voyager 815, but it just doesn't sound as good. i'm sold on plantronics. everything else just sucks.

I have the Iphone so I bought an Alpine DVD w/bluetooth and all the features so when I get in the car and plug it in it hooks up and is ready on its own. Really cool, but they have regular decks with that feature too so I would look into that.
