Here's the sticky I was talking about:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission/742741-sticking-clutch-pedal-write-up.html

Step one was the drill mod, next is the master, lets do that, before we have to drop the tranny.

i was reading that stickie and it says that the 01-02 are the best masters around sometimes they change the master's to that adjustable ones and then they don't like them and they switch back to the o1-02 masters... so i dont' know what to do! plus that master is like 260 or something i'll be happier spending 1000 and 100 for the slave and fixing the problem than to spend 260 and be the same

My favorite clutch out of all the ones I've tried is the Clutchmaster Stg. III www.clutchmasters.com

unfortunatly, I've had a ton of issues with tranny shops installing one correctly

BUT, when it was installed right, it grabbed like a ****, no chatter what so ever, and had excellent pedal feel

The Tex single disc would be a damn nice clutch for your setup. I loved the two that I had in my WS6, those ******* took a beating and drove smooth as hell

I paid $1480

but I got...

Clutchmasters Stg. III Clutch Assembly
Clutchmasters Aluminum Flywheel
Clutchmasters Master Cylinder

I think the clutch assembly alone was like $700-$800... but that was like 3 years ago when I got it so I don't totally remember...

Im sure I couldve gotten that many miles out of mine but I was changing setups after 15k miles on the first one, and then at 10k miles on the 2nd one.

I used to beat the hell out of those *******! I used to go to the track almost every weekend, and shifted it WOT at least 5-10 times a day. With 600+tq on the bottle I launched the hell out of it, street raced it countless times, cut 1.4 60's and the things never showed signs of weakening. They were both still going strong when I pulled them. Im sure I put those things through more abuse than most ever will

also, You should just pony up and go to the McLeod master with your new Tex, I had problems with the stock masters not disengaging the clutch far enough and it was dragging a slight bit. I loved the pedal feel of the McLeod (once I got it working that is)

Had Ryne install RAM adjustable hydralics and a Textralia OZ700 z-grip. Even though I only have about 60 miles on it. It feels greet, better than stock. AS for chatter no were near as bad as I heard from other people. I only notice it if you try to power cluch it, or take off way to slow. The chatter is lite and its no were as embarassing as others have made it out to be. I'm happy! Worth the $$ so far!!

The chatter will become nonexistant once you get more used to driving it

wow nice! thanx for the info... i really didn't want to spend the money and get the McLeod master but i guess i'll try it out 1st, see if that helps me not get a sticky pedal and if i still do then i'll get the slave and Tex clutch!!!

When my pedal first started sticking to the floor when I did my first cam swap, it was the clutch that was gone. I replaced the clutch and nothing else and it worked flawlessly. That is until it started dragging, which was cured by the McLeod

He didn't say that it caused a sticky clutch, he said it dragged.

I think he understood what I meant, he's trying to get rid of his sticky pedal
