Default Pics of my DD

Finally got around to taking some pics of the ole beater after I got it cleaned up yesterday... pics are with my camera phone so they aren't the greatest... maybe one day i'll be able to afford a real camera lol

With gas prices the way they are... this will be my main source of transportation now... the TA unfortunatly will be parked... cept on the weekends for car shows and such...

but still better than what i'm getting in the TA, and I can put REGULAR in the stang where as the TA i MUST put premium in it...

I pretty much just inherited it...

it needed some much needed TLC

Just got the original spark plugs/wires changed at 140k on the odometer!! Put some synthetic oil in it... put the new headers on since the old ones had an exhaust leak...

now she's running great...

dont need a cold air intake there should be an air silencer that goes into the fender (plastic piece) remove that and put a k&n filter in the car. So for 45 dollars you have a cold air intake. Check to make sure there is an air silencer before you buy the k&n though. It's a gt but this is what your looking for (i'd imagine 6's have something the same)

its not good to start using synthetic oil so far into the motors life. if you get oil leaks youll need to go back to traditional oil.

I put Mobil 1 10w30 "High Mileage" oil in it, if it makes a difference... just made it to SoCal last night... ran great

on a side note... this damn car takes 7 QUARTS of oil!!!!!!

I dont think it supposed to take 7 qts. I think the dipsticks were screwed up on those.
