car weighed 3950 without me in it...and still can do some more weight reduction...
there is more to racing than hp and weight...r/t, 60', weather, etc...it is the 1/8 mile anyways...i dont really need a lot of top end...just get it and go...
r u in or what??? or r u gonna back down to a jeep???

If I can pass tech, then sure, I'll race. I lose about a quart of oil in about a week right now. Leaking and consuming. Power is still there, I just leave a small puddle when I park some where, and the car smokes after coming to a rest after long driving. I've never tracked either of my cars, so it will be interesting. Oh yeah, tires are bald, so that's on the menu real soon.

there is only a few "stock" ls1's i would bet on that could take a stock srt 8, it would have to be a great driver on a very prepped 1/4 mile track.
why dont you take a shot at ryne's srt 8, you have mods, and he has a cat back. should be evenly matched in mods, on the street to, we'll see just how important awd is.

AWD makes a big difference for launches but form a roll unless you got low gearing 4.10s+ or alot of power you dont really need AWD. I think if you raced him it would be better cuz you got those bad *** launches, I am nothing special behind the wheel

for sure, but why not take the srt 8 down playing its game rather than yours, we all know a roll race an f body should win but beating if from a dig would be an even better victory. and im still learning how to launch like everyone else. have gotten lucky a few times but thats all
