spike musclecar ls7 hey muscle car on spike is putting an ls7 in to what seems to look like a first gen. i just turn the channel and saw part of the engine and the body and then it went to commercial

yea ive been watching that. the first time they wheeled out the ls7 the host freaked out lol. there were two episodes on yesterday with two ss' w/ls1. i was kind of puzzled because they rebuilt this ls1 with new cam, heads (i think), FAST intake, headers and it only make like 345rwhp

Low compression doesn't make that kind of difference maybe 20hp. That thing should have been middle 400s with stock comp. Even with 8.5-9:1 compression I'd expect 400hp.

the LS1 SS episode was pretty old. I know ive seen it before.
and on muscle car, i expected it to be a 2nd gen because they said something like how those honetcomb wheels were styled like stock, and the 2nd gen came with smaller uglier versions of those. I think year one uses those on their new bandit cars. i didnt watch it all though so i didnt see it being a 1st gen.

Chuck went on to do other things. I think he changed his life around after losing his son, in I believe an accident. I wanna say a drunk driver hit him or something. He visits the Chevelles forum once in awhile.
