IMO, I think a truck set-up like that has more potential problems then a stock set-up, especially with that milage. I would wait a little bit longer and I'm sure the perfect one will turn up.

Id look around...those were prone to problems and there is no telling how that suspension was installed. I like the ZR2s alot but everyone wants way too much for them, I ended up finding a K10 Chevy truck with a 454 for $1000 compared to the usuall $17k dealers ask for the ZR2s.

I once looked at a nice ZR2 I saw at a dealer, then they said asking price was $17k, I brought in the Kelly blue book showing it valued at $12k and they wouldnt drop the price at all.

I would find a stock one and do the mods myself.

That "prerunner look" is so played out I wouldn't even want that. It all started out with guys not having enough to lift the back lol.

If you like the truck though, get it. Its your money.

If it was me though, I would find a nice stock 4cyl S10 with lower miles to go drive around in.

Ya thats the smart move, but i dont wanna invest any money into it. Just keep it running with oil, gas, and insurance.
